We highly recommend that you balance your prop on your aircraft using a DynaVibe or similar. The number one reason for parts on the engine and on the airframe cracking is vibration. Most people that balance their prop say it is noticeably smoother.
Some EAA chapters have a dynamic prop prop balancer for their members to use. Many repair stations have one for their use. If you do not have access to dynamic prop balancing we offer a rental program for ours.
There is a $100 rental fee. Shipping both directions in the 48 states with insurance is $100 prepaid. There is a $1400 deposit. Your card will be charged a total of $1600 but when returned in good order you will be refunded a total of $1400. The rental period is 2 weeks. Additional time is $20/day.
